Louisville, KY native that graduated from Eastern High School in 1989. Kenny graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1993 with honors with a degree in business management and minor in finance. Kenny worked as a regional project manager and coordinator with a Fortune 10 company (Columbia-HCA) from 1993 until 1997. Kenny and his wife Amy started a small business in 1997 in Louisville, KY. They owned and operated 2 preschools in Louisville area, employing 18 full time employees. Kenny was one of the managing partners of a successful healthcare software vendor called UCR Solutions which was based out of Nashville, TN and Louisville, KY. The company was purchased by First Consulting Group in 2002. Kenny's dream is to continue to find ways to give back. Faith, Family and Business are the priorities and principles for Kenny. |

Logan Murphy General Manager |
Logan Murphy, originally from Paris, OH, has an extensive background in receation and sports. It began in High School as he developed and led teams for mission trips, summer camps, and youth rallies. He went on to lead weekend teams at Cumberland College and became a member, coordinator and director of the Campus Activities Board during college. During this time he was also the leader of recreation for the summer park program in Richmond, IN. Later in 1998, Logan went on to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and acquired a Masters Degree in Education for Recreation Ministry.
Logan spent three summers as a missionary for Crosspoint Sports Ministry of LifeWay Resources in 1994, 1995 and 1999 in central US, New York City and Ethiopia. He also was the youth pastor of Calvary Baptist Church from November 1995 to December 1997. There he organized and directed recreational activities for the church. He was also the cofounder of Out & About Recreation, LLC where he organized and ran weeks of camps, retreats, picnics, and other events throughout Texas, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky from 1998 until 2007.
Before coming to the Basketball Academy, Logan was the Pastor of Recreation at Northeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY. During his time there he focused on recreation ministries including youth sports, camps and community involvment. He also helped with leadership development within the church as well as strategic planning.

Charlie Wallace Director of Sports Training & Fitness |
Charlie Wallace, a native of Louisville and former all-state high school football player, is a recognized fitness center developer and personal trainer that has been in the business since 1992. Charlie was one of the original founders of Orthopedic Sports and Fitness. Charlie was the managing partner June 2003 through December 2005. During that time he developed a very successful sports enhancement program. Charlie has trained athletes of all shapes, sizes, and levels of ability. From athletes in middle school to players in the professional ranks. Charlie’s focus has always been on instruction and motivation to help each athlete maximize results. In just over 2 years, fifteen of the athletes he trained received athletic scholarships in men’s and/or women’s basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis as well as baseball and golf.
From August 1992 through May 200 Charlie was the developer/trainer/operator of Magna Fitness Center. Magna was considered one of the premier fitness centers in the St. Louis and Midwest region of the country. The center featured personal training and general fitness memberships. Charlie’s trainers performed 1,200 + training sessions per month.
From April 1995 through May of 2000 Charlie was the strength and conditioning coach for St. Louis University’s men’s basketball program. He worked with coaches Charlie Spoonhour (’95 – ’99), and Lorenzo Romar (’99 – ’00). During that span the well conditioned men’s program made two trips to the NCAA Tournament.
In addition to his work with St. Louis University, Charlie was a frequent lecturer at basketball camps in the St. Louis area. He has trained with many professional basketball players including: Larry Hughes (St. Louis University and NBA), Ryan Robertson (Kansas University, NBA and Europe), Anthony Bonner (St. Louis University, NBA and Europe), Chris Carr (Southern Illinois University and NBA), Kelly Thames (University of Missouri and Europe), David Lee (University of Florida and NBA), Corey Tate (Missouri) and Erwin Claggert (St. Louis University and Europe). |

Steve Small has spent over 29 years in education and in the coaching profession that took him from Mount Washington Junior High to head coach of the Western Kentucky University (WKU) Lady Hilltoppers, Steve retired from coaching in 2001. While at WKU, Steve served as assistant coach, assistant head coach and assumed the head coaching position from 1997 to 2001. During his tenure at WKU, the overall record was 410 - 168 with 15 trips out of 17 years to the NCAA's Big Dance. Steve has been involved in three Final Fours with one trip to the National Championship game in 1992 versus Stanford. As head coach, Steve's record was 89-39 and hie chargers made two NCAA appearances and one NIT post-season tournament.

My name is Kevin Woods and I’m the new League/Tournament Director here at the Basketball Academy. I’m from Baltimore, Maryland and I attended Dunbar Senior High School and played on those great basketball teams at Dunbar. I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a 4 year letterman for the men’s basketball team. I have coached at the high school level and the college level. Eric Browning Director of BA Hoyas |
Eric Browning can be described as a basketball junkie. He has played 4 years in High School and 3 years small College basketball. Eric has coached High School basketball in Louisville for 6 years and is currently the assistant varsity coach at J-Town High School.
Eric has been married to his wife Melanie for 12 years and has 3 children, Jalen 14, Cameron 8, and Irina 4. "I am glad to be back at the BA and ready to take over the BA Hoyas and continue growing upon the good start."
